The Sound Coaching new coaching plan matrix is now live!

There are now 3 new levels of coaching plans available from Sound Coaching. So if you have a triathlon or single discipline event booked up and need a structured training program, with a training peaks account, monitoring feedback and analysis of your sessions then get in touch

Have you tried to go it on your own? Navigating the ins and outs of training – no matter your race, no matter your goals – is a challenge.

All athletes experience ups and downs. We have personal and work issues that interfere with our best intentions. An old injury may rear its head. Our goals may change. We may struggle with motivation.

For most people, a cookie-cutter program just doesn’t, well, cut it.

As an athlete, you have goals. Sound Coaching has options to help you achieve your goals.

Whether you want a training plan you can follow independently, you’d like guidance as you work towards your goal or you need a coach to be able to adapt your training schedule for your busy family, work or travel schedule, we have the training option that’s perfect for you.

SC athletes come from all sorts of backgrounds. Some are training for a first race, others are ready to take their racing to the next level. Some have ambitious goals of qualifying for a World Championship, others are racing as a means to get or stay healthy and fit.

Whatever your goal, we have a plan to help get you there.

In terms of online coaching via Training Peaks we have 3 types of coaching plans available, which all have the following

  • Planning and scheduling of sessions

  • monitoring

  • feedback

  • analysis on training peaks

  • telephone coach contact

  • progress review and feedback

  • nutritional feedback

  • training zones

  • Structured periodisation training 3 or 4 week rolling schedule e.g., easy, medium, hard week then recovery week

  • Personalised and bespoke training sessions for you

  • monthly fitness and benchmarking sessions

  • annual training planning with A. B and C training events,

There's also information and coaching advice on how to use power meters and the wattbike, to get the most from it, and how to do the testing, heart rate zones analysis, pedalling technique and efficiency drills.

The way it works on training peaks is that your account is linked to my coaching account, depending on the plan you choose below depends on the frequency of the above

Bronze - every 2 weeks, £100 per month

Silver - weekly, £150 per month

Gold - BI weekly, £220 per month

We would work on building your aerobic fitness base, which is in the lower heart rate and power training zones, to improve your recovery, lung capacity, fuel utilisation so you're not always burning carbohydrates and producing lots of lactic acid, and improving your fat burning efficiency

There is an initial one off coaching set up fee of £60, which includes a consultation, preparation and analysis of your coaching forms i'd send, and setting up the annual training plan with your events and weekly hours
